  Tell us about yourself
Gavin: I was always sporty from a young age and wanted to train people and coach them; it was inevitable that I would do it. I started as a Personal Trainer, and for my own growth I knew I had to move to an independent gym. I have been running my own business now for five years.
Currently we are at 70-80 members with our large group training and around 40 members with our personal training!
  Can you give an example of the difference FMA made to your business?
Gavin: Since I have been working with FMA my leads have gone absolutely mental - leads now are definitely not 
an issue. I know most coaches are always looking for leads, this definitely will not be the case if you are working with FMA.
Since we have been working with FMA we have gone up in client numbers by 25%. We are growing and as a result are looking to take on one or two more coaches.
Working with FMA has made me realise that I need to spend a lot more time on my business and less so on the gym floor. I still love working with clients, but through FMA I am also learning to love working on the business.
We want to keep growing and expanding the brand and under the guidance of FMA I have no doubt that we can do that.
  How do your marketing campaigns with FMA work?
Gavin: They give us the next month’s marketing strategy so we do not have to think about it - they will give us the ideas and help us develop them. We know exactly what we are doing in the coming months.
One of the things I like most about FMA is the network of other coaches that comes with them. We meet up quarterly and it's great to network with people who are in the same situation as you. You normally come away super pumped to go and work on your business.
  What would you say to others on the fence about FMA?
Gavin: Anyone who is sceptical about FMA, I can understand why you would be as there seem to be more fitness business coaches out there than actual coaches. But I have worked with other business coaches and comparing what we used to do with what we do now under FMA - FMA are another level.
